What is a Mining Sluice?
Kids of all ages will love panning for 15+ gemstones and treasures at the park's Gems of The Enchantments mining sluice. This fun teach-and-learn activity includes a take-home bag of real gemstones! A colorful descriptive card provides gemstone names, photos, country of origin, and special info for each gemstone. Purchase your bag of rough at the Guest Services Center and have fun seeing what stones and gems you find! All attractions have been fully inspected and licensed by the State of Washington.
